FILL THE BUS
DONATE school supplies during August when All Community Outreach (ACO) parks school buses around the community. Supplies are distributed to students in need for the upcoming school year.

CHILDREN’S BOOK PROJECT
Donate books or money in early Fall and Spring to support this project. Students at a designated school each year receive a personal book. Members are welcome to join the Book Project Committee to help facilitate this project.

TEXAS RETIRED TEACHER FOUNDATION (TRTF)
CONTRIBUTE in November to support the Texas Retired Teacher Foundation. TRTF provides financial assistance for critical-need retirees (teachers and school personnel); assists first year teachers by paying certification testing costs and helps outfit their classrooms; and gives public school teachers grants to develop special classroom projects. The Legacy Program develops factual resource materials about defined benefit pension plans and the value of the Teacher Retirement System in Texas.
Contributions are tax deductible.

ALL COMMUNITY OUTREACH SUPPORT
In December, DONATE gift cards from retail shops and restaurants to help disadvantaged Collin County families. Gift cards are distributed by All Community Outreach (ACO)

SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT
PARTICIPATE in fundraising activities in January/February to help provide $1,000 scholarships to two Allen High School graduating seniors who plan to major in Education. Throughout the year Memorials in honor of AREA members can also be donated. The Scholarship Committee works with the Foundation of Allen Schools.
